Beautiful Easter Egg Designs that will Impress Everyone!

The history of decorating Easter Eggs is said to predate Christianity, where the red egg symbolized the resurrection of Christ.  In today's modern world, creating colorful and decorative Easter Eggs is now a time honored tradition that so many little ones look forward to each and every spring.  With so many fun and exciting ways to creatively decorate, we have listed just a few below to get your creative juices flowing.  

The first idea is to simply use regular everyday items around the house, such as masking tape and stickers.  You simply boil your eggs in water and a little vinegar, then once cooked, wrap tape or stickers around the eggs then simply dip the eggs in your liquid food coloring.  From there, you can place additional tape around the egg and dip in a different color to create a truly beautiful look.  You can read the complete egg decorating instructions and be a pro in no time at all! 

The second design is not quite a messy, you simply visit your local Goodwill and snag up a handful of very colorful silk ties. Cut the bottom off of the tie to wrap completely around the egg and use a string or ribbon to fasten at the top, anything will work. Place the eggs in a pot of water and vinegar and boil away, simmering for about 40 minutes. When you unwrap the bundles the colors will have bled onto the eggs creating a beautiful Tie Dyed Easter Egg! 

The final idea utilizes plastic Easter Eggs that are embellished in colorful beads or glitter, think Easter Ornaments for Spring if you need a visual! All you do is pick up some plastic eggs and glue from the dollar store or craft store, brush your glue on half of the egg with a craft brush then sprinkle your glitter over the egg with a plate underneath to catch the extra glitter.
