Picking out a Costume

When I was growing up I never could make up my mind what to be for Halloween. I knew what I wanted for Christmas long before it became time, but with Halloween it always came down to the wire. I remember one year I guess I waited to long to tell my mom what I wanted to be and the store had run out of the particular costume I wanted. So I started sobbing and crying like most kids do and my mom told me to keep my chin up, so I dried up my tears and went off to bed.

When I awoke the next morning I found my mom in the kitchen working on something. Turns out she got an idea for a costume for my and she had been working on it since early morning. Mom had taken some of my old play clothes and cut holes in them, then she brought them outside put dirt and grass stains on them. That night before going out to trick or treat she put this liquid on my face, hands, and arms, it kind of reminded me of white glue, then I put my costume on at first I was skeptical. But after about twenty minutes the stuff that mom had put on my body started to peal and it looked like my skin was coming off and I was an official zombie. I grabbed my candy bucket and was on my way.

I’ve had a lot of costumes since then and in fact I’ve made my own children a few over the years but none as memorable as that one. So this Halloween get your ghosts and goblins together get them there Halloween Candy Buckets from the Gift Basket Pros., and see how many treats you can collect.
