Witches have always been associated with Halloween. Legends about witches say that they get together twice a year, on April 30 and October 31, and cast spells on innocent people and cause other magical mischief. Halloween is believed to be an opening to the spirit world, when people could communicate with the dead. Spooky!
Nowadays, the only witches that we really see are the ones going door to door to get candy from the neighbors. A very delightfully spooky gal with her ghost friends hanging around, just waiting for you to take her fresh baked mini cookies, brownies and frosted sugar cookies. Yummy, this is one delicious way to celebrate on Halloween.
