Monster Mash

I am sure that everyone has heard this song, or has at least heard of it. It has been used at Halloween parties since it has come out. Most notably used at office parties. Seeing everyone that you work with dressed up in costumes and dancing to this song has to be fun, or funny. It is one night that you can go as someone else, and not worry about people knowing who you are because you are in character.
Normally at these office parties, they are either catered, or it is like a pot-luck. To find that something special and in the Halloween spirit can be hard. Maybe you want to make it yourself, but when would you have time trying to find the right costume and cooking an extra spooky meal? It can be very difficult. The Gift Basket Pros. can help with this dilemma. We have a Halloween selection that is out of this world. You would be able to find something that everyone would enjoy, and still have time to put the special touches on your costume. Enjoy!

You Are Never To Old

Many people think that Halloween is for kids, it is true that it focuses on the children more than it use to, but we adults also can have a little bit of fun celebrating this frightful night. Dress up with you kids and go door-to-door, collect your own candy so that you donʼt have to raid your children buckets (we all do it). Through a huge Halloween party for all of the neighborhood kids, you would be the coolest parent on the street. Nah, really just have fun being with you kids and being the scariest or the cutest family in the neighborhood, because this is really a great time to spend with the little ones and get to know them again.

Now if you have that really hectic lifestyle, that many people do these days, get the kiddos something that they would enjoy if you are unable to go out with them on Halloween. Check out what we have at the Gift Basket Pros. I am sure that you will find something that you could sink your fangs into on October 31.

Around Halloween, you see a lot of grown-ups getting excited as the holiday draws closer. They are getting ready for a spooktacular night of excitement and fright. You see many adults spend a lot of time and money to give the children a night to remember all of their lives, maybe they want to out do the neighbors haunted house, or try and out do last years entertainment. But you always notice that many adults have an imagination as active as a child’s.

These individuals deserve a gift that is fantastic in taste and age appropriate, because, hey these people are adults they need something more than just candy and sweets. The Ghoulish Halloween Beer Basket has a perfect combination of goodies for an age appropriate, over imaginative person of mature standards. Modern Halloween

Present day Halloween differs greatly from the way Halloween use to be celebrated. Two thousand years ago, on October 31, the Celts celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth. During this time, the Celts would cause trouble and damage crops, but they also believed that with the spirits walking the earth, that the priests would have an easier time predicting the future. Costumes are from both European and Celtic cultures. People would be afraid to leave their houses on October 31 because of the belief of ghosts. They would wear masks so that the ghosts wouldnʼt recognize them.

Nowadays, we celebrate Halloween a little differently, but still with the traditions passed down through the centuries. Modern Halloween focuses mainly on the children dressing up and going trick-or-treating. But there are so many fun and interesting things to do on Halloween. You have pumpkin carving, ghost tours, costume parties, bonfires, telling scary stories, and watching horror movies. If you are in the habit of camping out in front of the television watching horror movies with some friends, or your child is having a sleep over on Halloween, then you must check out the Haunting Halloween Basket. This basket is chock full of yummy treats to eat throughout the night. From the Crunchie Munchies, to the full size candy bars, and Jack Blackʼs Dead Red Root Beer, this gift is stupendous for late night movie watching.

Which Witch?

Witches have always been associated with Halloween. Legends about witches say that they get together twice a year, on April 30 and October 31, and cast spells on innocent people and cause other magical mischief. Halloween is believed to be an opening to the spirit world, when people could communicate with the dead. Spooky!

Nowadays, the only witches that we really see are the ones going door to door to get candy from the neighbors. There is one witch that is really nice and has fresh baked cookies for you or a friend, the Mrs. Fields® Witch Cookie Jar. A very delightfully spooky gal with her ghost friends hanging around, just waiting for you to take her fresh baked mini cookies, brownies and frosted sugar cookies. Yummy, this is one delicious way to celebrate on Halloween.

How do you normally celebrate Halloween?
