Get Well Gifts
We are told that "Sunshine is the best medicine", and that may be true, but wouldn't that special someone that is feeling under the weather fell much better much sooner if they received a gift full of goodies to help them pass the time while they are on the mend? Sure, the sun has it's Vitamin D benefits that allow us to absorb calcium that in turn provide us with strong and healthy bones, but does the sun also contain chicken and rice soup that is good for the soul? Does it provide cross word puzzles for long days in bed when you are unable to jump and frolic out in the sun? We think not! So we will agree to compromise on this one where the sun just might be great medicine, but a Get Well Soon Basket will come in at a close second as far as bringing a smile to their face.

Employee Thank You Gifts
We all know those people that work tirelessly day in and day out, often with very little recognition. They might clock in early to get a head start on the day or stay much later than everyone else to ensure they are ahead of their projects and workload. Though they might be tired or have to put personal plans on hold, they always work diligently to ensure everything is taken care of.
For those people, they truly deserve a special recognition that words alone can't express, a simple gesture that shows they are appreciated in the workplace and their hard work has not gone unnoticed. One effortless way to show your appreciation is to send a thank you gift that speaks volumes about their dedication to their profession and work ethic. A simple thank you cookie basket with "Thank You" ribbon or a snack basket full of goodies they can stash in their desk to nibble on for extra energy would be great ways to show the long hours have not been unrecognized. This type of recognition might also be a great way to motivate others to put in a bit more effort! Everyone wants to feel special, and those that go above and beyond are a deserving group that surely deserve celebration for a job well done!

Graduation Gifts for Any Age
Memorial Day is almost upon us and that means so many young brilliant minds are turning their thoughts to enjoying a long and relaxing summer. From those youngsters just graduating elementary school and now entering the ranks of middle school to the high school senior or college graduate that thought this day would never come, this exciting time in their life should be celebrated in a BIG way!

Although many older graduates might appreciate cold hard cash as a gift, why not send a gift that is a bit more personal? For example, the traditional cap that graduates wear has been turned into a gift box full of fresh baked cookies! Yes, it's true! The Mrs. Fields Graduation Gift Cap would make a delicious and fun homage to the sanctity of this time honored tradition. And for the college graduate that has put in so many long nights of studying so that they can begin their ultimate journey of life now that school has ended and real life begins, the celebration of a wine gift will always make an excellent choice.
So no matter if you have a little one that is just moving up the ranks or know a graduate that has spent many long and stressful nights working to pursue their dream, celebrating this special time in their life will be a memory they will cherish for so many years to come.

Memorial Day Tribute
The Memorial Day holiday is known to Americans as "Decoration Day", which is a day of remembrance for our troops that died in battle defending our great country. Although there are many claims as to where the actual birthplace of Memorial Day originated, Waterloo, New York was officially assigned the home of this time honored tradition back in 1966.
The purpose of Memorial Day dates back to the Civil War as a means to honor our fallen heroes. This day is intended as a celebration to decorate the graves of those who died while fighting for this great nation of ours. No particular war or battle is needed for reference, just the knowledge that our men and women that fought for the United States of America and have lost their lives, are continually honored in the long standing tradition.
In 1971, Congress passed the National Holiday Act establishing a three day weekend which occurs on the last Monday of each May. This established a Federal Holiday that is now celebrated as the unofficial start of summer. We celebrate today with weekend grill parties, patriotic gifts, kids splashing in pools, and our American flags waving high. And although we throw parties and barbecue with friends and family, we will never forget the ultimate sacrifice that each fallen hero has made.
